PROPELLERS:

HELLENIC PROPELLES LTD manufactures propellers with a diameter of 30 cm, up to 2 m, made of manganese and nickel alloy brass. The process begins with the fluid dynamic study and the calculation of a suitable propeller for your vessel. Subsequently, the mold construction and casting are implemented, and the process is completed with the metal machining, pitch configuration and dynamic balancing.

Each propeller produced by our company is custom designed, in order to correspond to the requirements of the vessel with precision and maximize its propulsion abilities.

PROPELLER SHAFT SYSTEMS:

The machinery workshop of the company specializes in the manufacture and repair of propeller shaft systems, up to 12 m in length.

Our company imports European stainless steel shafts, type AISI 304L and Aquamet 17, introduced into a surface quality H9. The shafts are accompanied by material certification and are stored in stock to be processed, in all diameters of both International (Anglo-Saxon and metric) measuring systems , ranging from 25 to 100 mm. The manufacture of shafts in larger diameters, up to 200 mm, is made upon request.

SHAFT BRACKETS:

Under many years of experience, our machinery workshop undertakes the manufacture and repair of propeller shaft support brackets.

Our repair department, equipped with a number of customized assemblies, is able to restore the alignment of your bracket, after any cause of bending.

CARAVEL RUBBER BEARINGS:

The sales department of our company is at your disposal, keeping ready-for-delivery, Caravel Water lubricated rubber bearings, constructed in Italy. All our bearings are certified by the manufacturer.

SHAFT SEALS:

Α mechanical seal is the evolution of brass stuffing box, particularly for pleasure yachts and high-speed vessels. The most modern sealing system is water-lubricated and constitutes a reliable and more elegant sealing appliance in the engine room.

The sales set includes a spare lip seal carrier, so that the lip seal can be replaced without unistalling the coupling from the shaft. In this way we achive top security and reliability while cruising. At HELLENIC PROPELERS LTD, we produce Mechanical Seals in 4 axis CNC mill – turning machine, for all 25 to 115 mm propeller shaft diameters, which we keep available for you in stock.
